Inspired by the dynamic energy and goodness of my marriage, I began depicting relationship as a yin yang. I intended to portray two different halves of one whole equally and oppositely contrasting with each other.

As I painted, however, the two fathomless centers began turning in the same direction.

Each is not completing the other to make one whole. Rather, the two complete and unique wholes are spinning together.

I see that by their mutual energy and aligned intention, they are generating light.
